KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday assaulted Dallu-based Mahankal Manjushree Traders worked by Mintu Tamang and captured eight people with 78,000 face covers, for dark advertising of basic preventive items after the coronavirus alarm started alarm purchasing.
Tamang, 30, of Kavre is among the people taken into police authority. Metropolitan Police Office said they were selling a cover at Rs 31 — multiple times higher than the market cost. Authorities said those captured would deal with indictments of dark advertising.
MPO has given mandates to every one of its units in Kathmandu valley to start harsh activity against those engaged with cheating on face veils.
MPO said it had additionally found a way to guarantee smooth inventory of covers at ordinary cost in the market other than directing strikes at drug stores and distribution centers in the city.
