KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday captured a man on the charge of taking a gold chain, from Maitidevi of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31.
The arrestee has been recognized as Yashif Sheik (24) of Jhunkhunuwa in Yamunamai Rural Municipality-5 of Rautahat locale, presently dwelling in Maitidevi.
A group sent from Metropolitan Police Crime Division, Teku, captured Sheik after Yamuka Rai (21), a perpetual occupant of Katari Municipality-3 of Udayapur region, as of now dwelling in Purano Baneshwor Height recorded a report when a gold chain was grabbed from her neck.
Police, after a point by point examination, charged Sheik for his asserted association in grabbing Rai’s gold chain with gold memento measuring one and half tola at 11:20 am on Sunday, April 29, close Seto Pul.
Police grabbed a broken gold chain measuring one tola and 31 lal, bike (Ba 65 Pa 4745), Sheik’s citizenship, and his driving permit from his ownership.
